Cabling
- Mount camcorder on top of audio mixer
- Audio mixer locks into compression mount of tripod
- Connect Tonor wireless mic receiver to Mic 1 on Tascam audio mixer with 1/4" male-to-male cable
- Connect Tascam audio mixer, Camera Out (Hi), to Canon camcorder, Mic In, with 3.5mm male-to-male cable
- We found mounting electret mics on podium and mic stand provides better ambient recording than cardoid on mic stand
- Use cardoid mic for crowd work
Presets
- Set Mic 2 to Phantom
- Set volume on electret mics to MAX (40dB)
- Set levels on wireless receiver to MAX
- Center pan Mic 1 and 2 on Tascam
